i seem to have bad credit a few of us are getting a house we all went to get on the same mortgage but i was refused i need to find out my credit history and find out why its bad and how i can get it clean ive checked all the top credit companys and they seem to say my score is ok
would it be easier to go bankrupt and wait for a year then get put on the mortgage i just want to find out what the history is and try to get it sorted please help someone.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Don't declare yourself bankrupt! As much as you seem to think it's an easy option, it is impossible to get a standard mortgage for years afterwards, regardless of the recent changes.
Anyway - you have to have a considerable amount of debt before you can declare yourself bankrupt.
If you have - this could be the reason why you can't get a mortgage.
What debts do you have? Do you have a good income?
