Improving credit rating
3 Answers
I recently received a new credit card from Barclays with a limit of 240, which shocked me as I held a card previously with them with a limit of 8000.
I have read lots recently about a sharp increase in credit rejections due to the credit crisis affecting banks.
I have been living in my current rented flat for about 2 and a half years now, and am due to move out next week.
If I take myself off the electoral roll at the current address and re-register at the new, and start afresh, does anyone know if my credit score will increase?
Thanks.

They withdrew my option to withdraw cash a few months ago, now thy've reduced my credit limit. I'm not in arrears and never have been, they say they are being "responsible lenders" and making sure I do not have any future problems. I'll be finishing with them asap. Don't need nannying thank you.
