my daughter is about to rent a house and the rental agents want me to be guarantor ..I don't object to this but they say i need to pay 60 so as to have a credit check ..I think this should come out of the 210 admin charge they've already charged my daughter.. my question is ..how much does it actually cost to have a credit check done on someone?

They will also either use the report to make a recommendation to the landlord or prepare a report for the landlord themselves, based on the information they have found. Unfortunately it's a necessary cost.
