I have some shares to sell which I have had for many years. They are from four different companiies which are all listed on the London Stock exchange. I have never sold shares before. They are worth about £8000 in total. I will not need to buy any more and I have no others to sell.

Whats a simple and cheap way of selling them?

You can sell via most banks and building societies if you want to sell via the High Street, (Simple and safe, not sure how cheap). Or there are sites where you can sell online like Shareview etc.

Here's a list of prices to give a rough guide, but its best to do a bit of research.

Cheapest to do online with about a £10 fee for each share sale.
