My partner and I have split but still own a house together! We have agreed on a price for him to buy me out of the mortgage so what do I need to do now? Is it just a case of finding a solicitor to take my name off the mortgage or is there more to it?

you need to get the permission of the mortgage comppany - they will want to know that he can afford the mortgage on his own, and may well want him to re mortgage
Your partner will have to take out a new Mortgage in his own name and pay the joint one off. Best to see a solicitor to transfer the Deeds into his name only.
