Isa Notbearning Any Interst

Sorry if this sounds a really stupid question, but mid April 2014, I paid money into a Nationwide current account with the understanding that part of it would be transferred monthly to an ISA savings account until I had £15,000 in said account by the end of the tax year of 2014-2015.

Which is what has happened. And I can start another £15,000 ISA in April 2015.
What I don't understand is why no interest has been paid on the 2014-2015 ISA?

That's strange, Nationwide add interest to mine on 30th September each year.

The interest will show after April 5 the end of the tax year.

We have an ISA with Nationwide and have just been informed the interest rate has dropped to 0.75%! Think we might have to start looking elsewhere

I think Psybbo is correct. I also have Nationwide ISAs and interest is paid 30 September.

Will do Tilly. I'll get himself on the job. We've been with Nationwide for donkeys years and are perfectly satisfied with all their other services and to be honest I don't know if other interest rates are any better but it's worth having a look.

Interest is paid annually - the date depending on the particular ISA issue and the date it was started

It's still calculated on a daily basis so you don't lose out

I review my ISA each year and move it to a new fixed rate deal. There is no loyalty these days. This year its been with Halifax, before that Santander, Nationwide, Halifax again etc.

I'll look for the best deal soon, move it and add in the new year's investment which I've been saving up in a regular easy access account.
