Can anyone tell me how to go about opening a foreign bank account (not Swiss as I don't have THAT much money!)?

thats an easy one  next time your in spain pop in to sol bank say your thinking of moveing over there, and you would like to open a account.

they will need your pasport.

with in half an hour your account will be open they will show you how to use internet and get you loged on.

before you leave you get your pin no. for you mastercard debit card.

you will recive the card and cheque book at your british address within 2 weeks. then your set.

you can transfer money to your account from england.
