Nominet shows that the web domain was registered back in 2011, so it's clearly not one of those sites which suddenly springs up and then disappears without trace. (The registration was made through GoDaddy though, which is a website creation firm which is commonly used by small businesses, such as local florists or cafés, rather than by major companies with bigger budgets).
The limited company that trades as Undisclosed.co.uk (Fairweather Claims Ltd) was only set up in 2020 though. It's sole director, 37-year-old Benjamin Robert Snape, seems to be one of those guys who frequently moves from one type of business to another. As well as being the sole director of Fairweather Claims Ltd, he's also a director of Pecunia Inceptus Ltd and Link Up Law Ltd. He's previously been a director of Systems Driven Ltd, UK Telecommunications (Support Group Ltd), VAS System Ltd, Wellington Retreat Ltd, Smooth Accident Management Ltd, Copious Ltd, The Legal Partnership Ltd, Prime Energy Connections Ltd and Smooth Accident Services Ltd.
All bar one of the 27 Google reviews for the site are positive. (The business doesn't seem to be listed on TrustPilot though). The only negative review states that social media is full of posts from people saying that the business is a scam but I can't find any evidence of it. (The company's Facebook page is showing "This page didn't load properly, so you may not be seeing everything that was posted. Please try again later.". So it's impossible to know whether any comments posted there are positive or negative).
From the firm's website: "The No Win, No Fee Success Fee for getting your Car Finance Compensation is based on which expert panel member we refer you to. The maximum the legal panel will charge as a success fee is 48% inc. VAT" [Ouch!]
My own best guess is that the firm is legitimate in the sense that it does the job that it says it will but, because it's basically a 'get rich quick' scheme run by a guy with fingers in many pies, possibly doesn't offer a great service for getting any refund that you might be entitled to. (Also from the website: "You do not need to use a claims management company to make a claim").
This would appear to a much better route to follow:
