Template Work Name And Pay

I want to make templates for a construction company but I don't know how much to charge per hour or per sheet. I have to design templates from scratch so they can photo copy it. Things like EMPLOYEE EMERGENCY CONTACT SHEET, SAFETY TASK ANALYSIS RISK REDUCTION TALK, NEAR MISS FORM, INCIDENT REPORT FORM, ECT... I've never made these templates before but I do have some skills which made my example templates satisfactory. I was hired but I don't know how much to charge for this type of work.

Note: As far as I can see my limitation is 3 sheets per day or about 10 hours since I've never done this type of work. I am improving but I do realize that I take too long at the moment.

£200 per day is a reasonable rate for such work. But you sound new to it so maybe a day rate is unfair on the client. Most of these templates are simple forms and many can be repeated, others can be downloaded online. I could probably do them all in two days plus a few hours to tidy up and consult with the company so £500.

You might take a week over it, but it’s about the right fee level.
