I have recently transfered 800 of a 2600 balance from one card to another ( 0%).
On my older card I have 1500 of cash transactions and 1,100 of purchases.
Question is, How much do they transfer from each, as the cash rates are significantly higher than the purchase rates?

Why have you only transferred 800 to the 0% card? I presume that's all they would allow.
Generally ask youself what is worst for you and that'll be what they do!
Having done some research rather than replying off the top off my head, there is no universal answer.
Looking at my own T&C, payments are (after interest has been paid) applied to the oldest transactions first on one card whether they are cash or purchases.
On another of my cards it's as I said - cash transactions paid off first.
Apart from the 'always' Loosehead could also be right for some cards
You'll need to read your own T&C to find out what happens to you.
