Oh, wouldn't we all like to know the answer to that ?!! On the other hand you can get rich slowly by never buying any food or consumer commodity which takes you above basic survival level, never taking a holiday, not running a car, buying your clothes from charity shops, growing your own veggies in your garden or allotment, moving your savings around constantly to get the highest interest rate, never buying a take-away or eating out in a restaurant or buying ready processed meals instead of making your own................the list is almost endless, and doing all or some of them will help you grow a little wealthier.

But do you want to be comfortable, affluent, wealthy, rich, stonking rich, a millionaire or even a billionaire ??

If you're surrounded by those you love, have good health, a roof over your head, sufficient food and clean water you are rich already without realising it. I guess everybody has their own definition of what the word means.

Or you could go and marry a 95 year old millionaire (the easy route) or slog away the hard way for a lifetime building up your own business and then selling it (if the taxman doesn't rob you of most of your profits first).

The quickest way that is the most possible, is to marry somebody rich. I am not saying I approve of it, but it is attainable, and some people set out to find their man with military precision. I once saw a great short film on TV. A young man in his twenties was given a wish by a Genie or such like. His wish was to be rich, and so his wish was granted with sage words of advice from the Genie "Never throw anything Away" Years past, the man kept hording and hording stuff that he picked up throughout his life. Cars, furniture, toys, you name it he just bought it and kept it. Periodically he was visited by the Genie. The man kept saying that he was doing as he was told but wasn't getting any richer. The Genie just kept saying be patient. Finally in his 70,s with his house bursting to the seams with stuff he'd accumulated over the years, all of it still in the original boxes, non of it used, he was visited by the genie again. This time the Genie advised him to sell all his possessions. So he did, and made a fortune from all the old cars, still in show room condition, now worth thousands to collectors, boxed toys still brand new and all the furniture and fittings, prime examples of things now worth a mint. He was rich! The moral I believe was that getting rich is possible, but takes time and dedication.

Thats an interesting point andyjevs, how do you get rid of that much cash, you cant just buys things with it surely, Maybe if you can get it out of the country you could buy stuff abroad? or do most countries have anti money laundering laws these days anyway.
