If somebody is living alone and has single person discount how many nights a week can somebody else stay at their property before they class it as co-habiting?
As long as the person has not taken up perminent residence..if someone reports you, most likely the council will investigate..snoop as it were..as long as there isn't the other persons toiletries, his and her towels if you get my drift. If questioned it would be up to you to prove otherwise.
I would check this out with the council they will give an answer, if it regulars visits and not just holiday guests then its breaking the single person's discount
I WOULDN'T check it out - give them an inch, and they'll take a mile. Better you just play it straight if and when you have a need to advise them that you are no longer entitled. Personally, I disagree that just because someones visits are regular you are breaking the rules - they are still not living there.
