Hi,

Can anyone tell me if I earn interest on a tax rebate I am owed? I have been waiting for almost 2 months now, for my rebate of a couple of hundred pounds. I found this sentence on the goverment website, but I am not sure if its right-

"have been delayed for more than twelve months after the end of the year of assessment (or the end of the year in which tax was paid, if it was paid late)"

Thanks

yes, it's right - you won't get interest unless the tax is for (or was paid in) the tax year 2004/05 or earlier.
