Are coins or notes easier to forge? (i'm not interested in forging or anything and i don't expect anyone to give information from personal experiences or anything like that!!!lol)i was thinking the other day that coins would probably be more difficult to forge than notes (i suppose when there is a will there's a way), but we have higher denominations as notes with pocket change available in the form of coins.what is the reasoning behind this? I'm guessing it's coins - probably fairly easy but could also cost more than their face value to do so
When the 1 coins were first issued there were a large number of forgeries produced, but with inflation the cost of producing them nowadays would probably excede their face value.
