is it correct that french companies have to do a complete inventory of all their businesses every 5 years

I don't know about an inventory, but they are absolutely stung for charges for every thing you can think of. My Son and his partner have a business, and the tax situation is an absolute nightmare - permission for this that and the other. I will try and remember to ask him the next time I speak to him
