It will show your credit history at any addresses you've had and will highlight any issues. When you apply for credit the loan company will check out the address/es you give.If there was someone at your new address with CCJ's for example it will come up on your credit record because the address is the same.I know because it happened to me!
So get your credit file from Experian or Equifax and if it contains any name other than yours or your partner/children then write back saying that these people are nothing to do with you and they should be removed from the credit file.
