What on the internet would you regard as proof of identity ? Will a heartfelt assurance do, or a piccie, or a link to myspace, or even a phone number ?

How do you know that you are talking to a tasty piece of totty rather than a heavily-muscled tattoed shirtlifter.

I think that there are peeps on here who are not what they represent themselves to be shock horror.

At the end of each sentence put 'honest indians' (or whatever that expression used to be).

I is back from my hols- did ya miss me?;-)

Personally I couldn't care less what anyone on 'ere looks like, It's not like i'm gonna pull 'em is it? If I was interested in anyone though, how can anyone prove that a piccy they've produced is really themselves without meeting them?

I know for a fact that I show a piccy of a 6foot blonde supermodel and pass it off as me, when sadly I'm a 3foot albino dwarf :-(
youre right whiffster.

a photo and a phone convo are a start .

at least as to sex of the person.

but the net is riddled with liars and cheats im afraid.

call me paranoid.

but i know im right.

dont you ?????
Lol. I once saw a cartoon that had a picture of a dog sitting at a computer, typing away. The caption read

"On the internet, No-One knows you're a dog"

its so easy to hide behind a keyboard and monitor. I can't understad why anyone would go to the extremes of making a fake myspace page with fake photos etc. That's just sad!
