This can be tricky - it happened to me a couple of years ago.

 

Are you the payer or the intended recipient of the missing draft?

You could inform the bank and they may, at their discretion, cancel it and refund you or issue another one. They would probably get you to sign an agreement that if it was ever found and cashed, you would still be liable for it because it is a form of guaranteed payment. This happened to a friend of mine and that's what happened to them.
