I run a company and have 3 vans on the road at the moment, but every time i ring for insurance and ask if i can protect my no claims they say that commercial vans cant be protected.

does any one know if this is true or do you know a company that would protect full no claims agains commercial vans.

From previous experience of working in this field I was responsible for all commerical vans and the regulations were that the ncd could not be protected due to the fact that as they were for commercial use they would be in use more than a normal car so therefore there is a higher risk of a crash and in the long run would end up with the insurance company losing out which they do not like to do so they just remove this option from the policy!

I am self employed and I have just renewed my van insurance with royal sun alliance, It is a commercial policy and I was able to get protected no claims. You have to have a full no claims discount for two years.
