Nothing wrong with going out with parents though and staying local. Even when I was your age I found NYE too manic and squashed everywhere. You might have better evening.

And thankyou for using my intended user name  not the abbreviated one I had to use

No probs

I'm probably alone and this is not said with malice but I think abbey deliberatley posts in poor grammar, atrocious spelling to add weight to the persona she likes to portray (ie a rudderless teenager). Sometimes she forgets and can write quite adequately.

I kinda sussed that one out 😁

The rudderless teenager is in her 30s though, Prudie

Prudie on dating sites etc you get many scammers and a tell tale sign is that if they contact you they very often post to you in perfect English but the next message is garbled pigeon English. I know my grandma is not the best but you can always spot the signs so easily.

And yes I have been on dating sites in the past 👍

I'm well aware newmodarmy

Aww don't be mean about your grandma on NYE :-) :-)

Well she tells us she's 30 ish

Yea I know she has and I'm a fighter pilot with many medals for courage and bravery

abbey did say in a post a long time ago that she has ----I think it was Dysphasia? Perhaps some else remembers that.

Think I'm confused now.

Off to the pub we go.

I think it was Dyspraxia that's been mentioned in the past...

Andres she did say that diagnosis at 5 years old, no support no follow up and no allowance made during her extended period in education.

Yes, it was dyspraxia...which can manifest itself in adults in ways similar to abbeys difficulties. Including descision making.

I thought that dyspraxia was a physical co-ordination difficulty and dysphasia is when a person has difficuty in writing and spelling words

Pasta with all kinds of respect I cannot believe that her mother would not seek help for a child diagnosed and certainly wouldn't she seek help seeing how her adult child is struggling

..and I can't believe her mum doesn't know that Abbey is working less hours/has left jobs/is only earning £120 pw

I was wondering the same Red. Maybe it's a reflection of attitudes then...of both parents and school.

My daughter has mild dyslexia. She's a few years older than abbey. It took ages, and a lot of persistence on our part to get anyone to help. We switched from a village school to private to get it.

I have adult autistic sons and every week/every month is and has been a fight of some sort to get correct support or help. You have to be strong enough not to be fobbed off and brushed aside. Everything (whatever you are fighting for) has to go to three stages (if dismissed in first instance which tends to be case - as Martin Lewis said and I have found in my life to be true! Third appeal is the charm!) - they (ceratain agencies) fob you off/deny at first two stages in all depts and hope people give up along the way.

If parents give up and never revisit when symptoms develop or increase they are doing kids a disservice.

Rude of thumb-  the squeakiest wheel gets oiled first!!!
