Yep, that's me. I am not in the best of health right now and his morning got up as usual to a tip of a kitchen. Well I cleaned it up like I do and after lunch the step daughter who visits at weekends declares a friend is coming over and staying. Well apart from the kitchen, ( spotless) the rest of the house is needy and I have neither the energy or inclination to do it. Himself and step daughter rolled out of bed at lunchtime and have done nowt. Now as well as my step daughter and her friend , I have a boy they both know in my sitting room and I am cross. Why can't I roll like they do and turn a blind eye to the crud ??? Rant over!!!

keep the place clean, but allow the place to become rather untidy until they are too embarrassed to invite people over. Hopefully, it will kick them into shape to tidy, or they will hang out elsewhere. Tried and tested method for me, and it worked.

What can I do Woof ? Wishing I hadn't given up my house doesn't help !! They know how I feel and how living like this makes me feel. We are different and it is me who is to change I fear.
