They'll be some of the above from my daughter when she leaves me and the Mrs to babysit her nearly adopted daughter for the first time.
How many phone calls will I get?:-)
I used to babysit for various people when I was in my teens, it was an easy way of getting money. I am now 53 and looking back at those days I am horrified that anyone would leave their children in our care. We had no idea what we were doing.
I hope that the adoption process is not too long for your daughter. Your grand-daughter is still a baby and I am sure that she will be a greatly loved baby too. ☺☺☺
Some years ago my friend who was going to a wedding asked me to look after 7 children - all under the age of 8. With the running around I done that day - I lost 4 lbs.
Some of them went to the shop and were ages and ages. The house was near the shop but when I think of what I had done - I left two toddlers in their prams and run to the shop to get HOME.
One little baby had diarrhoes - it was everywhere that I dumped him in the bath. Also he got some marsh mallows in his hair so he was bathed.
Friend also asked me to have a wee party for the 7 year old. I'll never forget it. My cousin when she heard - she said Jenny looking all those kids was so unfair. They are all grew up now. But that was a pretty dangerous thing I done re the toddlers. Doesn't bear thinking about it.
