my mothers birth time

my mother is 70 today and she would love to know exactly what time she was born as this is not recorded on birth certificates is there any way i can find out

The only thing I can think of, is if she was born in a hospital, and she knows which one, they should have a record of it.

Ask her parents? Seriously - it's probably a bit late to find that out now, unless as Lonnie says she was born in a hospital and they have records going back that far.

Is she Scottish by any chance? Time of birth always used to be on birth certificates.....
