or try and get a cheap quinny buzz and then a dreami carrycot perhaps.
theres a seller on ebay which is the UK distributer for Quinny and Maxicosi and often the used prams they sell are actually brand new.

if buying a buzz though try and ensure its the new model which comes with both types of seats.
something like a speedi will also take a carrycot facing either way.
ive got a concord neo which is lovely in pram and seat mode, easy to push and both front and rear facing.

Hi Carliex. I too am one of those mad women that talks to my baby! We have a lovely Loola Up pushchair made by Bebe Confort. I did not buy the carrycot to go in it, and by about your babys age we had her partially sat up in it.
It is great as it is an umbrella style folding pushchair, but, it is not the lightest (nor the heaviest) to lug around.
I see them second hand on ebay frequently. In fact, I just found this one brand new on ebay for 190: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bebe-Confort-Loola-Up-Pu shchair-Black-Red-Brand-New_W0QQitemZ370177451 973QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushc hairs_GL?hash=item370177451973&_trksid=p3286.c 0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1688%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7 C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I strongly suggest you try one out in the shops before you buy another pram though!
