i dont know were my children stand

hi im looking for some help. i have just recived a letter from a solicitor, from my exhusband, saying that he want to see me over the right to see the kids there ages are 4 nearly 5 and the other 8 years. the 4 year old has only seen her dad twice since she was 6months old and the last time was over 3years ago. the 8year old boy has seen him on and off over 6 years he has not had any contact with him for nearly 3years. the youngest child does not reconice her father photos you can ask her who is this and all she will say is i dont know. are eldest child knows his dad but has said to me and his dads family i \"do not want to see my dad he never comes back to see me and he said he would take me to lego land but he never come back\". this is very heart aching to for me as a mum but i dont know what to do if my son wishes not to see his dad will the courts make him see his dad . and im also concerned that my youngest will get very confusted on where she stands with her life. i have always been a willing paront for them to see there bio dad . will are childern have a chose wether they want to see there dad or are they 2 young?

Be the reasonable adults your kids need and sort it out between yourselves, you know the man, is he trying to grow up now and be the dad he wasn't 3 years ago? Your children are too young to remember him but just the right age to start to establish a good relationship with him and create the memories.
