Could this possibly help?

So I'm thinking of stopping cutting, I used to swim competetively and I might start again. Could this possibly help me stop thinking about cutting? Please don't say anything bad, I'm trying to stop :)
Cutting is pretty much cutting yourself to get rid of emotional pain, and its pretty much only temporary, but it leaves you with scars. Pretty much just like getting a cut, but doing it on purpose
