I like

Aiden, Cameron, Louis

Thomas
David
Michael
Joseph
Joshua
Jacob
Jack

I like the names Andreas and Soren.

Keep away from placenames, obviously American names and surnames.

Avoid pop stars, football players & football teams. If you're going to use their father/grandfather's name as a tribute, I'd suggest using it as a middle name - let that child have a bit of individuality.

Maybe go to a run-down council estate and avoid any names you can hear being used there!

Don't know why, but I tend to like Irish names, whether for boys or girls. Niall or Sean.

We are now thinking of changing our sons name from Drew (as earlier posted) to either Damian or Dior.

This is a direct result of the spawn of satan emptying a bottle of Dior Addict (parfum not "toilet water") over both him and our bed. Even after three baths he still smells gorgeous.

At least he won't need to wear aftershave when he is older, a bit like Obelix falling into the vat of Magic Potion, he will for ever smell of perfum.

My dog did that with my EDT when he was a puppy. I went out, he got bored, got my Rive Gauche from the kitchen table where I stupidly left it, chewed it, probably decided it tasted horrible because when I got back there was still some left that hadn't leaked through all the holes! Both he and the kitchen smelled beautiful for weeks and weeks!
Our little boy is called Frederick David. It was met by mixed responses because it's an old mans name, but now he couldn't be anything other than Fred or Freddie. It suits him now and it'll suit him when he's older ( Stiil find it difficult to imagine Granny Britney and Grandad Brooklyn)

The only down side was when he learnt to write his name it took a while cos it is quite long.
I really like the names Jake and Oliver (but Ollie for short). Certainly does depend on things like the surname.  I would like my children to be called something slightly different to the 'in' names at that time, but not too strange!

i know of a baby boy, just born, called

LENNY

I didn't like it at first but it's really growing on me now!

My youngest son's middle name is

FRANKIE

and i love it so much that I sometimes wish we'd given it him as a first name.

bruce
I know a few people with son's having unusual names:

Sven
Yannic
Flynn
Keagan
Cayden (sp?)

We went with Alexander James.  Something that sounded a little distinguished and traditional but not cursing our child with one of those far-out-got-to-be-different-to-everybody-else names like the child in his class who was christened Armani Jake!

can't go wrong with "DAVID"

also, fine fellows whose names i have liked are:

"ROBERT/ROB" "Alexei" "MAX" "Alexander" "LAURENCE (Lol(not LOL)lol)" and "Marcus" and "James"

An unusual but not unheard-of name I've always liked is Dominic. That way, if he doesn't like it, he can always call himself Nick.

What about 'Joseph Andrew' I have no idea what your surname is, but I hope your sister-in-law has chosen girls names too as the sexing of the child is not 100% accurate...........i should know, i bought boy's things and then had a girl!!!!!

Good Luck with the birth

Kieran?

Damien?

i like reuben, brady & kiaran
I like Ollie, Dominic, Jamie and Aaron.
My son is Tanner. We've just found another Tanner in Canada who is 1 year younger. We are both the only other ones we know.
