school uniform

my little baby starts school in september..sob sob..Trouble is he is little still wears 2-3 year old (98cm height) clothes i buy my other boys uniform in asda but their smallest seems to be aged 4-5 Can anyone suggest where i should go..?

Hi, I had the exact same problem with my daughter last year, and I didn't want her to look "drowned" by the uniform. I found that Adams done age 3-4 but also ebay seemed to have aged 3. or 2-3. You could always buy some very near his size and get them altered. Or tumble dry some that shouldn't be.

Thank u curiousty i 'fell out' with adams when my 9yr old was little same clothes every season in different colours..!! But looks like i'll have to return with tail between my legs..!! Either that or pray 4 a sudden grow spurt..

I hate Adams also, but was getting desperate. Next do alterable waistbands on their girls range of jeans, which is great, not sure about the schoolwear, and I think it's only available online anyway. Sneak into the cheap shops that never get get the sizes right!

Primark,If u can get 2 1 also do adjustable waist bands,Prices are amazing & quality is good,I swear by it but i only have boys so not sure about girls clothes..They dont do uniforms but do take a look if ever u get chance..

Don't know if this is any help but are there any posh schools near you where the nursery kids have to wear uniform? if so ask them where they buy.  probably some expensive posh retailer though and probably nasty woooly things that can't be tumble dried.. I often see tiny little sprogs in full school uniform, some still wearing nappies - bless!

my little boy is still in 3-4, but was also in 2-3 when he started school, i got his trousers from next directory, fantastic quality, i refuse to use any others now!

John Lewis used to do small size uniforms, you could try them if you've got a store near you.

bhs do small sizes, HLL was in 3-4 year clothes last year and they stocked them
