I used to get broody moments after both our children started school (aged 5 & 8), but the feelings soon passed once I went back to work.
Yes, its empty nest syndrome! i got like it when my chap started school, i was single though so couldnt act on it! Although me and my partner are planning a baby when we move, i thoroughly enjoy having the day to myself, its amazing how much you get done!
would you really want another now, maybe you should just see how you feel after a month or two,im`e sure you will fill your days up somehow..then if you feel the same dicuss it with your boyfriend or hubby and see if he feels the same about you...good luck...!!!!
I used to know a woman who had 3 children, with 7 years between the eldest and the middle one and 7 years again between the middle one and the youngest (same father for all three), so I guess you're not the only one!
I have heard that a baby has a special smell that lasts on them till they are about 3 or 4 and it has a special affect on the mother, but after it dissapears after 3 or 4, the mother will get broody again because she is missing the smell. Thats why people do on an average leave 3 yrs between each child.
