Baby Sleep
Hello
My 7 month old son got into a routine a while back...he would sleep from 6 or 7 at night and was always up at 6:30 in the morning. He would then have a few naps during the day.
Yesterday though he slept from 6pm til 7am, then had various
long day time naps. By 6pm he was ready for bed and went straight down and is still sleeping at 7am....I know I longed for this type of sleeping at the start but just wondered if this was normal (he has got all the symptoms of cutting a tooth...red cheeks, dribbling etc)
Thanks ️xx

When you think of all the factors affecting their sleep patterns, its hardly surprising. Growth spurts, developmental leaps, teething, illness. I found a book called 'the wonder weeks' incredibly reassuring and interesting. It tells you when the main developmental leaps happen and how it changes your babies brain. Changes in sleep patterns often go hand in hand with increased grizzlyness and clinginess and its all explained really well in wonder weeks.
