Evening!

As a first time mum to my now 2.5 yr old little girl, I am constantly worrying whether I am doing enough/ not enough with her, i am inteested to know whst a typical week looks like for anyone else with children of similar age?
For example, do you use nursery or preschool ? Do you work?
Do you use your own parents for childcare regularly?
Do you do any regular clubs or classes?
Do you have just you and little one time at home doing activities or do you do the usual chores and jobs that need to get done?
Thankyou in advance!

First child - worked full-time, child minder from v young. Then he went to nursery with second child. Third child, himself was stay at home dad (not a big success in my view). Then I stopped work and was/am full-time stay at home mum to five. After school clubs but no swimming or cubs/brownies, etc. I think it's different for everyone one - depends upon work demands, available cash, location. As long as she's happy (and you are) don't beat yourself up. You can't do more than your best.
Think you just have to do what suits you and your circumstances, there is no right and wrong. Have been at home with a child, but when I had my next I used a nursery as I went back to work.
Hi. I remember our children were born about the same time. My daughter is 2 1/2. I have one day at home with her mid-week & try to do a combination of chores, ie shopping, with some fun such as play-doh, park, games. The rest of the week I'm at work so she has one day with my mum & 3 at nursery. Do what is right for you both. I think it helps to get some chores done mid-week so I'm not bogged down with them at the weekend
my little one is not much older thatn yours. We both work full time so she goes to nursery 5 days a week. Not much time int he evenings to "do" stuff with her
No evening stuff at the mo, but i woul like her to go to gymnastics perhaps next year
weekends, don't really tend to "do" a lot either - went out to a farm park today, but that was a birthday treat

I think an unhealthy dose of self doubt goes with the territory! My daughter is same age as yours and I'm endlessly worrying about how things are. I don't have much patience, that's what I worry about most. Aside from that, she is in nursery tue, wed, thur. Friday we go playgroup in the morning, chores in the afternoon. Sat family time but we don't really do much. Sunday she goes to nanna, Monday is a 'no plans' kinda day. X
