My 2 year olds nappy bursts every night - he has 1 bottle at bedtime then 1 more at around midnight, even though I change his nappy at midnight it always bursts between then and 8am when he wakes - are there any nappies out there that could cope with the extra capacity ? He currently wears Aldi’s.
Aren't Aldi nappies supposed to be as good as Pampers according to reviews? My daughter is so old I feel I shouldn't comment on toddlers - well not without a mumsnet style torrent of disagreement - but when she was 2 after the bedtime bottle she never got another in the night (nor a nappy change). Is that the norm?
Maybe the problem is the midnight bottle, at two he perhaps is too old for that and should be discouraged which would have an impact in the bursting nappies.
Aldi get very good reviews, I’ve recently stocked up on them for a young relative who is expecting, and they’re so much cheaper than other brands.
Does he need a whole bottle at bedtime too?
In fact, does he need a bottle at all?
I know you asked about nappies, not tips on feeding, but maybe just give him a drink in a sippy cup.
I had to use terry towelling nappies and that certainly encouraged me to start potty training as soon as possible. Also, isn't 2 rather old to still be on a bottle?
As has been said your son doesn't need a midnight bottle. Are you waking him up for it or does he wake up himself?
Cut down on the bedtime drink, too.
He shouldn't really be drinking from a bottle at his age. Wean him on to sippy cups.
Time to start potty training.
