how soon after you ovulate do most women menstrate? This month I have been having more pain in my ovaries then usuall, but this is normal for me as this happens every-now-n-then, and I've seen a doctor about it, but I still don't have my period yet, and I was wondering if there are any thoughts or knowledge about this topic.

Thank you

The 'norm' is 14 days but i think it can be anything from 12-15 days. if its 12 days for you it will always be 12 days. Every one is different but your cycle from ovulation to period will always be the same.

i hope this explains it.

I read that your period is always 14 days after ovulation. If you have a period every 28 days, then this will fall midway, If your cycle is 26 days then you will ovulate on day 12... and 14 days later your period will commence. If for some reason your period is a week late, then ovulation occured later in your cycle than usual.

I read it in a medical magazine, so hopefully it's true!
