Hi,

Just wondering what adivce anyone could give me, I came off my pill on the 23 Feb and my Husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since then. Since last week I have has very sore breast that are too sore to touch they are very veiny and have got bigger, I also have been feeling sick, I couldnt imaine I would be this lucky to get pregnant so soon but I am not sure what else this could be?? I think I am due on on the 26th (Sun) but am unsure, I have bought a first response pregnancy test,so when is the best time to take the test??

I would imagine your symptoms are just from coming off the pill. Congratulations if you're pregnant though!

Its quite possible that you could have got pregnant the first time round! Your symptoms do sound very pregnanty I have to admit. I had exactly the same with both my first pregnancy and this time round (currently 17 weeks pg).

I think with the First Response test the earliest you can use it is 3 days before your period is due. Good luck - let us know how you get on - and don't be disappointed if you get a negative. It may just have been too early to test or its also quite possible that you're not pg. When coming off the Pill normally it takes 2-3 months for your body to settle down and for your cycles to regulate. As I say though, its not impossible.

I've never been pregnant, but i have come off the pill before. I would say your symptoms are the opposite of what you'd expect when coming off it - in any case my boobs got smaller and less painy - so take the test the day you're due and good luck! :)

I think it depends on a few factors, ie; your own body and the type of pill that you were taking etc. I have a 2 year old son as a result of coming off my pill for 4 months, i doubt you will get pregnant straight away, but hey, i could be wrong. Your body needs time to readjust and 'prepare' for pregnancy. I wish you all the luck conceiving and let us know how it goes! I'd love to have another little baby but my son is too much hard work! lol! xx
