I have a 5 point harness fitted to my car seat buy my 2 and a half year old wiggles out of the arm restraints.

Any suggestions of how I could safely hold the arm belts together?

Hi Zebedee,

Wriggly little rascals aren't they, sometimes it makes you wonder if they are double jointed.

I had the same problem with my little girl, so ask the police for help as I couldn't think what to do. They sugggested I bought a strap similar to a rucksack strap, sew it on one chest strap and do it up as tight as possible. Then they cannot get the angle to get out.

Great Little Tradin Co have something similar with velcro which they can easily undo and also they were consistently out of stock, so I had to wait ages and to find it didn't work :-(

Hope that helps. Lily

are you pulling them tight enough?
