day out for kids

im down in basingstoke to visit my sister this weekend and i wanna take her out for the day. does anyone know of any good places within driving distance. somewhere an eight year-old girl would enjoy.

Try the Guildford Spectrum it's got Swimming with flumes, ice skaing, bowling, laser quest, indoor play area and reasonably priced too. I took my 7 and 11 year olds in the easter holidays and had a fab day.

Alternatively, Basingstoke has it's own lido (with flumes), bowling complex, cinema, ice rink & Milestones museum all within walking distance of each other - follow the signs to the leisure park.

thanks for ur ideas guys. ended up taking her to coral reef - the swimming place in bracknell, and to the cinema in festival place. plus we went to a car boot sale this morning. i'm exhausted :)
