For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.we used a Britax Eclipse from mothercare a few years ago. Quite a few have the fitting instrustions to include lap belt fittings, yet everyone simply thinks they will fit better at the side.
We were amazed at the fitting on the lap belt, it felt SO MUCH MORE secure than when it had been fit at the side, after worrying about it it so made sense in the end.
Best you get to a local Mothercare or Car seat shop, the fitters will be able to show you and give advise on the most recent seats available.

I have a Britax Rennaissance I think which is just the most superdouperfabby car seat I have ever had for my children (and I have 5)
I bought it because I have a fairly old car and need to put 3 seats across the back row and the middle strap is a lappy. I have two Britax's either side (though can't remember what they are called but they are the ones up to age 6) and the renaissance in the middle. It has a one hand adjustable strap height (so no rethreading when your child gets taller) and a handle, lever thing which means, you put it on with the lap strap and pull this lever out and down and it tightens it up even higher. As Hol5 says, it is way more secure than the other two.
I phoned Britax and asked them which seats they had which could go on a lap belt and they had 2 but I can't remember what the other one was. I then shopped around and bought it from some baby shop online and got it cheaper than it was in their catelogue.
Logo onto their website cos they have this really neat tool where you put in your exact car details and it tells you which seat they do for each seat in your car....it's dead crafty.
Good luck
