CSA visiting your home

Does anybody have any experience of the CSA sending not one but two women to their house,very stroppy they were,and this was even though appropriate forms had been filled in!!?? The man they wanted was out but his wife(my friend ) was very upset by this.They wouldnt say who they were,only by ring number on letter they put through door did she discover who they were.Is this usual??

hi, unfortunately i used to work for them but got sick of the way people were treated. They do normally warn people that they are coming unless the person concerned has ignored all requests to contact them. They do go in pairs as people quite understandably can get quite aggitated and aggressive with there attitudes.

Hiya.But in what circumstances would they do this?? The guy in question has sent all the forms back,then out of the blue these 2 hammered on door demanding to see him and wouldnt say who they were.In the end they gave a card which said DWP on it.When they went the house fone started ringing,then partners mob at work,which they ignored as thought it now started looking a bit odd.Then an hout later the women came back and shoved a letter through door saying they were from cas and were coming back in a week.Why are they being so OTT??

Cos they been c0cking up left,right and centre and now they're using your friend to try and redeem themselves,they are ar4e-h0les pink and throw their weight around cos they can,!!

sorry for the delay in replying. I can only imagine that because they have a 2 year back log of post that your friends form is sitting in a big black hole of letters and forms that havent been looked at. I would say that if they carry on this harrassing behaviour without a good explanation i would write to the local MP etc. if your friend fill in these forms in future I would advise them to photocopy them all and keep them safe until they come knocking again. at least then there is proof that they have filled them in.

Hi Spanner.This is a fairly new case - he only got the forms in March!! He has tried to call both the office and mobile numbers on card that they left his wife but no reply.So he emailed the email address on card on friday and still no reply - they are really worried.

The trouble is the phone system is linked to the computer system and basically it's crap and like electric blue said they are cocking up left right and centre. I really feel for your friend it's always the ones that do there upmost to tell the csa everything that get chased all the time and the ones that never do that that dont even get a letter. Can your friend and his ex come to a private agreement without the csa or is she on benefits? sorry for the questions but i'll try to help.

This guy's ex is a very bitter nasty person.He has offered her a figure monthly to avoid the CSA and it is a pretty generous one I think,but she has refused because I presume she is convinced the CSA will award her even more.The ex is not on benefits at all that he is aware of but she definitely has a full time job.
(The office is Norwich I believe - thats what was on the card anyway)

try these people, they deal with all the problems that people have with the csa. they correspond on behalf of your friend so he wont need to contact the csa directly. i will try and find some numbers for you though.

also i forgot to mention that if your mate is paying his ex now until the csa sort it out. tell him to get receipts as proof, you can get a receipt book from WH Smiths and also if he has the kids overnight to keep a diary of the days he has the kid(s). This will help him enormously. and photocopy all forms!!

Do you know spanner,the funny thing is that I have been chasing the CSA regards my ex for FOUR YEARS and I still haven't managed to get a penny from him!! lol

see you should have put a thread on here and i might of been able to help. I know it's crap im just lucky that when i split from my ex that he pays me direct otherwise i'd never see it. All my mates that have got ex's that have gone through the csa have had a lot of problems. I think you just need to pester them on a weekly basis until you get answers. see why i dont work there anymore. xxx

I think at some poitn I did put a thread about CSA,well I meant to anyway! They just keep saying that he hasn't replied to their latest letter!! He wont!!!

Ive given them his home address,work address yet they wont visit him-say they dont have the man-power!! Yet my poor friend.......grrrrrrrr
