Does anyone know of a good school for primary pupils on the autistic spectrum - anywhere in England. Thank-you :-)

Oh, god, I knew this one. There is a school somewhere in co.Durham, which is really good. One of my former neighbours had her son there. I will try and find out for you.
Tst, I cant get in touch with her. Been trying to find it on line but without luck so far. Another friend of mine is supposed to get back to me re another school in Alnwick, Northumberland. It might however be the first one there: http://www.epiweb.org/northumberland.html

You can also check for contacts there http://www.aboutautism.org.uk/sen.htm

And some other info here http://www.teachernet.gov.uk/wholeschool/sen/p arentcarers/

If you get in touch with your local education authority they would be able to advise you if there are any schools where you live.

Ill see if I can dig up some info on the ones round here.
