Me again! My daughter has an Usborne book about growing up and it goes in to feelings as well and what physically happens, so it is quite good. My daughter is 12 and had started her periods, so I have reached that stage too. But I guess in the end it would be good coming from you as her mum. You can best explain that her body is precious and beautiful and ask her how she feels about her own body and may be what advice she would give one of her friends in that situation. After all how would she feel about the whole school seeing her and what would she think the boys would expect next? Hopefully she will be able to answer her own questions, something I have only just come to grips with myself at 41! I am only throwing ideas in to the air, but sometimes one sounds like a start and go from there. I think you have given me advice in the past and I hope I can return the favour.
