My 23 month old son has just started cutting one of his 4 back teeth, just wondered if there is any tips anyone one can give us, as hes waking every hour or so and crying most of the day?

Ive tried various things when my son has had teething pains (luckily most came through with no bother) a few of them being.
Teetha natural teething granuals from chemist
bonjela
calpol when really bad and he has cold like symptoms with it
Frozen banana, whole, so that he cant choke on a lump
a gum massager for babies. Its like a toothbrush but has knobbly little rubber bits instead of bristles.
Obviously you cant give him a banana at night but there may be something in there to try.
I hope his teeth pop through soon with no more problems

Teetha grans. work well (Well for mine they did). Also consider Ashtons and Parsons natural teething powders. These are available from chemists and are a good old fashioned thing.
Otherwise I had a cold teether in the fridge.
Hang in there something will work keep trying (one at a time).
Calpol or baby nurofen might help too.
