I breast fed my daughter for just over a year and have recently sopped. First of all i would like to ask what happens to your boobs and when will they fill up again? i have lost over 1 stone in wieght (pre pregnancy) and am quite pleased with that but not impressed with the boob front?! Any sugesstions?

Also i have just had a period since i gave up and seem to be bleeding quite alot, longer than normal - is that normal??

once you stop breast feeding the milk eventually dries up and goes away. As for your period when I had one after having my daighter it was horrendous but I imagine this is quite normal if you haven't had one for a while. If it is really heavy for a long time ask your doctor for advise.

It will take a few days but the milk will just go!
I hate to say it but once the milk dries up, the boobs dont fill up again! Unless of course you have another baby!

My friend is the only one I know off that has ever been lucky and kept hers after stopping breastfeeding.......in fact, after each of her four children........she always remained bigger than she was before the last pregnancy!
I must be the only person that hates having bigger boobs when pregnant., I'm only a 36B normally and even going to a 38c it's awful. Hubby quite likes the look of them though ;)
lol spanner....im happy with mine now but Im really hoping that they dont get any bigger!!! But with 31 weeks to go.....I know they will :( lol
your boobs will produce milk waiting for baby to drink it. Once your body realises baby is not drinking it then it will stop production. Problem being it can take one day or months for your body to twig on. In the mean time you may have leaking, full, sore boobs. If it gets really bad you can go to the docs and he can give you tablets to jog your body a bit. If you are past this stage they wont fill up again till next baby comes along.
Cant rember first period after feeding sorry!
A c spanner, you jammy thing! I am an E now :-(
