Hi Psychick

I'm good thanks. A bit knackered and sore boobs but otherwise ok. Spencer is 3 weeks old today, I'm not too sure where the time has gone!

He sleeps well at night, feeding every four hours which allows me & mr_woo to get some sleep. The days are harder as he doesn't sleep & gets very fretful in the afternoons cos he's so tired, he also feeds every 1.5 - 2 hours during the day which is tiring.

The HV is happy with his progress, he's gaining weight well. Birth weight was 8lb 9oz & he's now 9lb 2oz.

mr_woo goes back to work on Monday which is gonna be strange & scary. I have no idea what I'm going to do all day, I'm quite worried. I'll probably be on here a lot asking a hundred silly questions.

Hope you and the bump are well x
Hey Psychick - thanks for asking!

Motherhood is fun but also stressful at times!

Mia is two weeks today and is feeding (and pooing!) a lot more regulary! Breastfeeding is now going fine but i'm exhausted a lot of the time!

Have had the odd 'baby blue' moment and shed a few tears mainly when she;s screaming her nut off and i feel i can't cope!

Like pixie, i'm slightly apprehensive about when karl goes back to work... but also think it will give me more time to become independent and grow individually.

Overall Mia is a good baby though and is only waking once or twice during the night. She already makes me laugh so much - her red face from straining and mainly her facial expressions when she's got wind - when she has a massive smile on her face and all i can see are her gums! lol.

I still look at her it complete an utter awe and cant believe she's mine!!! She's what we created!! I'm already sad about the thought of her growing up!!! :o( lol.
hiya you two- was on my hols so missed the birth of your babies, so a very belated congratulations from the Boo household xxxxx

Im glad to hear things are going well for you both! Tired with sore boobs...yup, that brings it all back now! lol
My daughter was under the weather and I had rough night with her last night. I said to my boyfriend "its like having a baby in the house again" then though oh poo! 6 more months and I will be going through it all again! lol

nat, I suffered from PND and I will be honest and say it didnt really start til the father was back at work and my mum (who had stayed with me the first 3 weeks as she lived 200 miles away) had gone home.......so when I was on my own. I used to take a walk into town everyday just for the fresh air and change of scene. A way to help deal with the crying and not settling down to sleep, I would just keep telling myself she will stop crying and go to sleep eventually, she cant do it for much longer. I dont know why but it seemed to help keep me calm and more importantly....keep my sanity!

Me and my bump are well, thanks for asking pixie_woo. Ive got my first scan and bloodtest on Tuesday! Im excited and extremely nervous! lol Oh and nat.......my daughter is 6 yrs and I still sometimes find it amazing she is mine!
They are amazing things arent they! Suppose its just one of those things that never really sink in!! I'll just do my best to cherish every moment with her!!

Good Luck with the scan and blood test! xx
