I have just bought one on a friends recommendation. Just wondering if anyone has used them for their little ones? Thanks. x

Hi victoriaw
My grandson had one when he was younger, it was really great, it gave much more freedom, no need for a harness or straps, it meant that he could sit in a position making it easy for him to hold toys and play with them without any restriction, and lean forward to pick up his toys without fear of him falling out, before he could sit up properly on his own. Hope this helps. M
i had one and it was great. It said on the box suitable for up to 14 months but i found my daughter was too big for it and moving around in it too much by the time she was about 8 months.
Hi - my son is 19 weeks old and I put him in a BUMBO chair every now and again when Im running around in certain rooms (normally cleaning) - I tried him in it a few weeks earlier and feel that it helps strength his back. Im just waiting for him to sit up on his own now.

I dont feel comfortable leaving him too long it in but he will normally let me know if he is getting restless in it before I am due to take him out
i bought one for my son, but he never really liked it and would slump in it too much. I also knew of a few babies who could tip them.

i think they can be very good for some children but a waste oftime for others. I shall try the new baby in it when the time comes and see if any better.
