weaning problem
I have 2 daughters Gracie is 3 and Lola is 10 months I am still breastfeeding Lola and trying to wean her ( I have been trying since she was 6-7 months), I have had a few problems firstly we discovered Lola has a milk intolorance then she has had 2 bad tummy bugs all of which made her very sick! I think she is in the mind set that every thing she eats will make her sick
She now wont have anything off a spoon and if I give her food on her highchair tray she just sucks it and doesnt actually swallow anything! I have tried her with savory and sweet things, I have tried all textures purees, lumpy foods, soft crisps, fruit vegtables mashed and whole raw and cooked, bread with soya butter, toast, rusks whole and mashed in breastmilk, baby cereals in breastmilk, even our dinners pureed, she eats at the same times as we do so shes involved in dinner times I have also tried at other times when its just me and her, I sit her near my other daughter to watch her I have also sat her on my lap nothing helps
I am still breast feeding her 3-4 times a day same at night, I have tried withdrawing the breast at night but she gets very upset and wakes up my other daughter ( and to be honest I would rather feed Lola 3 - 4 times a night then have Grace woken up and moody all day although I think this is going to have to be what I do next) she wont take anything from a bottle or beaker (not even breastmilk) although I try her with a beaker every mealtime so theres no chance of me feeding her water instead of milk at night. I am at my wits end as it is getting very hard to stay happy at every meal time so she doesnt get upset and push he food away even more! I really dont know what to do next please if anyone can offer any advice I would be grateful.
