Whats everyones feeding timetable for 5-6 months
Im weaning my 5 and half month old son at the moment and he seems to be loving food .... just wondering how often others are feeding food along with bottle feeds.
Is it every two hours ... bottle ... food ... etc. Or is anyone doing bottle and food together.
Just some ideas please

6am ish Milk
Nap
8.30-9.00 - Porridge & Drink of water
11.00 Milk
Nap
1pm - ish - Lunch & Drink of Water
3pm - Snack & Milk
5.30 - Dinner & water
7.00 Milk & Bed
This also allows for an afternoon nap after the milk as well.
I always gave water from a drinking cup as soon as they were on solids. Keep bottles or breast for milk only.

With my first I went for feeding when my son was at his hungriest. Can't remember times as it was 4 years ago now, but I gave milk and food together.
Gradually he was eating more food than taking in milk, and then by 1 year he was having only three 'full' bottles a day (morning..day and night). This went down to a morning and night bottle as he was eating a full menu by now!
Think as long as your 5-6 month old is having his recommended milk a day, you should be fine, but I would feed when he is hungriest! (usually when he's draining a full bottle!)
