Can I give my 9 month old Goat's milk?
5 Answers
Hope your all well. Thankfully my boy has been sleeping extremely well lately and we never did the controlled crying thing in the end, much to our delight and he is a much happier little man. Anyway we've discovered that he has an intolerance to dairy products, which I believe is fairly common so I just wondered if it is okay to give him Goat's milk, Goats cheese and Goat's yoghurt. I know I should ask my h/visitor but I thought I would check here first.
Merry Christmas to you all by the way.

I would think that you should probably speak to your doctor or health visitor ,as you have mentioned, before changing your sons diet as a lot of his nutrition at that age will come from milk still and you need to make sure that he is getting everything he needs from other foods if you are removing dairy from his diet.
Glad to hear he is sleeping better ;o).
Merry christmas to you as well - hope the wee man enjoys his first christmas!

I would seek professional help as appose to other people experiences. My daughter has a dairy intolerance and i give her Wysoy formula milk rather than goats milk, and yoghurts you can buy from the supermarket etc. There are things out there but do always check with a doctor or health visitor before giving anything to a child with an intolerance as often there are other additives etc which may react in other ways. Hope this helps.
