"Use of sertraline by nursing mothers has not been adequately evaluated. "

perhaps you need to speak to the doctor who has prescribed it.
I took it for around 8 months. I felt abit dizzy & sickly for first 2 weeks. After that it worked really well. Only problem ive had is that as i was feeling better whilst on it, i came off it without consulting my doc. BIG mistake as now i feel low again.

If u cant find an antidepressant that can be used whilst bfeeding then theres no shame in going onto formula 4 baby. Its more important that u feel ok than baby having your milk. S/he wont remember how they were fed, but will remember if mum was depressed. Good luck xxx
i was on sertraline and it made me go loopy, couldnt remember conversations id had 20 seconds ago, tired all the time. I felt terrible on them to be honest really didnt agree with me one little bit.
