Talk to the midwife/hospital about it.
I was in for weekly scans with my last baby, and had a doppler scan to check bloodflow. All OK, but still "too small". I was told they'd induce if she didn't keep up.
HOWEVER the scans are not very accurate in reality, so it was more of a cautionary exercise.
In the end, she came one week early, weighing 5lb13 which is smallish but certainly not a major problem.
Only in the last fortnight did one of the doctors think to ask if I was eating alright, and I explained that I had had appalling acid reflux all the way through and had trouble eating even a normal amount of food. DURRR!!!! That'll be it then, she says - have these prescription antacids, and spend as much time as possible resting and eating!!
