I would like to become a model but every where i try say they want a deposite or charge 50pounds per photo for a portfolio.Does anybody know any good agenceys i could send some pics off to that are not scams

These comapnies charge so to weed out every other girl who thinks they could be a model. If you are serious, then £50 is peanuts. The only reason you wouldn't pay is if you had any doubts that you couldn't cut it. As you are asking the question, my feeling is that you will not make it as a model.

If they didn't charge then anyone could try their luck.

well i would pay it but my friend paid an agency and they took the money and she never resieved a portfolio and the money was not refunded like they said it would be! thats why im worried about paying any1 anything.

AV the companies would know how to weed out all those wanabees that wont make it.
Any reputable company would not charge as they can recoup any outgoings from future work the model does.

Never trust anywhere that wants any money, in any way. Seriously. Do NOT hand over any money, my niece got stung, for crap photos and out of pocket from a wannabe nobody agency.
